About Event

This has been in the works for a while now. Secret meetings, hushed whispers, code words and what not. We wanted to create something just for you and here you are. Hack-Overflow is a 24 hours Hackathon, set to begin on 21st February. This is the first ever Hackathon event to be conducted by the Computer Science Department in Rajalakshmi Engineering College and we can't wait to see it hit the stands! It can be a great platform for all the participants, to expose themselves to path breaking ideas and highly useful implementations. It can be the path for change makers. The Hackathon will provide socially pressing problem statements and the participating teams should be able to come up with solutions.

Various industry and academic experts are to join the Hackathon as the jury. This will also give a glimpse of the field to the teams and will put forth many career opportunities for the students. If the judges are impressed with the performance of the participants, they might even be awarded with opportunities such as internships and job opportunities. Now, doesn't that raise the stakes! Opportunities on a platter - and here's something for the rule-breakers and change makers

Information regarding team members seeking accommodation facilities (candidates who reside outside Chennai) should be informed prior in order to make necessary arrangements in the hostel.

It is mandatory that at least two of the team members should stay in the workplace throughout the event. Candidates can take turns and can make use of our college hostel to take occasional breaks.
